Minecraft Xbox 360 saves to transfer to Xbox One

Save files from the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft can be transferred to the Xbox One when that game launches.

Now players don't have to worry about losing their progress if they make the step up to the Xbox One version.

"After months of teaming up with Mojang, we can confirm that Minecraft X360 Edition will save transfer to Xbox One Edition... more news soon!" Xbox boss Phil Spencer tweeted.

The Xbox One edition still doesn't have a release date, but we'll bring you more as soon as we hear it.
