Amplitude sequel now has Kickstarter campaign

Harmonix is hoping to create a sequel to rhythm-action title Amplitude by starting a Kickstarter campaign.
The original Amplitude was released on the PlayStation 2 in 2003 and was much-loved by players, while the new game would focus "on the core Amplitude experience".
The campaign needs $775,000 USD to be successful and it would come out on PS4 and PS3, with the PS Vita as a future stretch goal.
"We think it's important for a game built on the history of Amplitude and FreQuency to be focused on Sony hardware in order to remain faithful to the core gameplay experience," said Harmonix.
So far $144,134 USD has been raised with 17 days to go.
