EA working with Respawn on new Titanfall experiences
EA has agreed a deal with Respawn to release "new Titanfall experiences", meaning a sequel to one of 2014's biggest games will almost certainly be made.
The publisher's CEO Andrew Wilson explained the news during a financial briefing last night.
"EA is continuing its partnership with Vince Zampella and the Respawn Entertainment team, building on our success in delivering Titanfall, the biggest interactive entertainment event of the year so far.
"Through a new publishing agreement, we'll be working with Respawn to bring new Titanfall experiences to players worldwide."
It was also revealed that 925,000 units of Titanfall were sold in the US during its first three weeks of being on sale.
It's unlikely a sequel to Titanfall would be exclusive to Microsoft consoles and PC again, so the series could finally debut on the PlayStation 4 in the future.
