Wolfenstein: The New Order has branching storyline

Wolfenstein: The New Order will feature a branching storyline that could take up to 20 hours to complete, according to creative director Jens Matthies.

The upcoming shooter is single-player only and doesn't include any multiplayer features, but Matthies said there's still more than enough content to keep players happy.

"if you collect everything and explore everywhere I think a single play-through could end up close to 20 hours," he said during a Reddit AMA.

"Most notably is that the player makes a choice early on the outcome of which opens up an alternate time line which changes the vibe of the story.

"It's recommended to do a second play through and see what would have happened if you chose differently."
