Harmonix's Kickstarter funding goal for Amplitude was reached with 20 hours to spare, meaning a sequel to the rhythm-action game will definitely be made for PS4 and PS3.
The target was initially set at $775,000 USD, and the funding now stands at $809,000 USD with 12 hours left.
"Wow. You did it," wrote director of Publishing & PR at Harmonix John Drake. "We honestly can't believe it - we get to make another Amplitude and play it with you guys. It's incredible.
"We're reeling from the news and we're incredibly humbled by the support from all of you."
A stretch goal has been introduced for online head-to-head multiplayer if the funding hits $1,125,000 USD.
