Tony Hawk's Pro Skater announced
One of the most renowned skating game franchises is back, in the shape of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD and you can expect the return of ludicrously high-scoring combos and crazy tricks.
Activision Blizzard has confirmed that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater will return to its classic gameplay roots and will take the best elements of the franchise and rework it for the current generation of consoles.
Tony Hawk said the team were looking back at "the core of what made the original [games] so popular while leveraging today’s console power and online capabilities,” and that there were many updated elements in the new game.
"Long-time fans of the series will appreciate the huge amount of polished content at a very low price."
The game will be focused primarily on combos, as we said, so you'll have to chain your tricks together to get the best score, and there'll be some crazy tricks to do too, we're sure. Anyone who remembers the original games will be excited to also learn that the control system is the same, so you can jump right in there.
The game will be available on PS3 and Xbox through PSN and Xbox LIVE and will cost $15 USD. Check out the latest screens below.
