Language »
Microsoft has released the June update for the Xbox One, adding the support of external storage devices.
Now Xbox One users can plug an external USB 3.0 hard drive into the console to install games and additional content.
Up to 16TB worth of external storage is supported.
Elsewhere the update also allows players to display their real names alongside their Xbox Live gamertags, and removes the requirement of Xbox Live Gold for accessing apps like Netflix and Twitch.
Users should be prompted to download the update automatically, but if not they can head to the settings menu and do it manually.
