Destiny performs better on Xbox One after Kinect removal

Destiny will run at 1080p and 30 frames per second on the Xbox One following the removal of Kinect.

That's according to Spike TV's Geoff Keighley, who asked Bungie developers about the performance difference now that a Kinect-less console has freed up resources.

Microsoft announced its decision to remove the Kinect last month, clarifying its decision by saying Xbox One power could then be used elsewhere.

Now the Xbox One version of Destiny will run at the same resolution and frame-rate as the PS4 version.
