Ubisoft unveil Watch Dogs at E3
Details have emerged for the new open-world action adventure game Watch Dogs.
Players will take control of Aiden Pearce, a new class of antihero who has the ability to hack into any connected system.
This opens up numerous possibilities, such as causing a 30-car pileup by manipulating traffic-lights to trap an enemy during a shootout, or hacking into the city’s security cameras to access anyone’s personal information.
Pearce will be able to control almost every element of the world around him at the click of a button.
Creative director at Ubisoft, Jonathan Morin, said: “In Watch Dogs, anything connected to the city’s Central Operating System becomes a weapon.
“By pushing the boundaries, we can provide players with action and access to information on a scale that’s never been seen in a video game before.”

Watch Dogs is set to be available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Ubisoft have confirmed that the game will not be released until 2013.
