The Crew to get regular content updates for free

The Crew will receive regular content updates for free following the open-world racer's release.

Creative director Julian Gerighty said this was the best way to keep players engaged with the action.

"One of the things that I really want to do is to keep providing people with content after launch," he said in an Ubisoft interview.

"I really see this as your one-stop shop for action driving."

However The Crew will also be coming with microtransactions, as players can purchase performance parts with real-world money instead of unlocking them through progression.

The Crew arrives 11 November for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
