EA reveals Netflix-style games service
EA has revealed EA Access, a Netflix-style subscription games service that gives members unlimited access to selected titles for a monthly or annual fee.
Currently EA Access is scheduled to launch later this summer exclusively on Xbox One, and it'll give players access to digital versions of Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25 and Peggle 2 for £3.99 GBP a month or £19.99 GBP a year.
Those who subscribe will also get a 10% discount on full game downloads, DLC and in-game currency, as well as trials of upcoming titles five days before release.
The first games to receive trials are Dragon Age: Inquisition, FIFA 15, Madden NFL 15, NHL 15 and NBA Live 15.
At the moment it's unclear whether EA is planning to bring the service to other platforms like the PlayStation 4, but expect much more to be revealed at Gamescom next month.
