Ubisoft will find it "hard" to make PS3/360 games in 2015
Ubisoft has plans to wind down support of the Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2015 due to increasing demand for the new consoles.
The Xbox One and PS4 have sold better than expected since releasing last year, and Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot thinks it'll see the company putting more focus on them very shortly.
"What we see is that this year is still fine for the PS3 and 360, but next year because they are selling very quickly, we'll move to the new hardware," he told Game Informer.
"After 2015, it will be hard for us to create games for those systems."
There have already been signs that Ubisoft is moving towards a new-gen future. Last year the publisher released Assassin's Creed: Black Flag on both the new and older consoles, whereas this year Assassin's Creed Unity is being developed for new-gen and Assassin's Creed Rogue is in the works for old-gen.
There could be one more Assassin's Creed release on the older consoles in 2015, but after that it's unlikely we'll see another one on the Xbox 360 or PS3.
