Assassin’s Creed Unity release delayed
Ubisoft has announced that upcoming Assassin’s Creed Unity will be released two weeks later than it’s scheduled date.
The two week delay will “help ensure that the quality of the game meets fans’ and the team’s - lofty expectations” a press release from Ubisoft said.
“As we got close to the finish, we realised we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional,” said Vincent Pontbriand, senior producer at Ubisoft.
This isn’t the first time an Assassin’s game is delayed, but with the later release date, Ubisoft might find themselves in a very crowded space as most of the blockbusters of the year would have been released, such as Borderlands, The Evil Within, Alien: Isolation and Ubi’s other big title, Far Cry 4.
Unity will be released on November 11 in the US and November 13 in EMEA territories. Assassin’s Creed Rogue will still release on November 11 in the US, but will release November 13 in EMEA.
