PES understands football more than FIFA, says dev
Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 will offer a better understanding of football compared to FIFA 15, according to European brand manager Adam Bhatti.
Every year the two titles go head to head and battle it out to become the number one football game, and in recent years FIFA has come out on top.
However the latest versions of PES have been catching up on its rival, and this year Bhatti believes the difference is in the gameplay.
"I think it's a better understanding of the game," he told us when asked about the main difference between PES and FIFA.
"I think what the competitor does really well is create a fun experience for you. They want to get you straight to the goal - if it's a lofted through ball more often than not it's going to work for you in that game.
"Whereas with us, we want you to get to your striker but using real-life elements to it.
"We want you to pass around and make the space to get to him. That's no good if the passing around and getting to him is no fun, and last year we actually made that side of it not a lot of fun.
"It wasn't responsive and it wasn't doing the things that PES should do. So we want you to feel like 'I can make this pass' and have a great time doing it as well."
