Would be "amazing" to make Battlefield Hardline 2, says dev
The chance to work on a sequel and turn Battlefield Hardline into a series would be an "amazing" opportunity, according to executive producer Steve Papoutsis.
Hardline marks a change in direction for Battlefield as it focuses on a "cops and robbers" gameplay style instead of the usual military warfare.
However instead of this just being a one-off, Papoutsis claimed he would love to see Hardline explored move in the future.
"Ideally with Battlefield Hardline we're focused on trying to make a game that everybody enjoys and that lives up to the heritage that is Battlefield," he told ArabicGamers.
"If we do a great job and people like it and tons of people play it, it would be amazing to get another opportunity to make something else in the series."
Papoutsis stated that there're so many ideas it would be impossible to fit into one game, so a sequel would definitely be worthwhile.
"We've got a ton of ideas and we're not going to be able to get them all into one game so, if things go well yeah, I think we've got a lot of stuff to pull from to continue to make a great series out of it if we get a chance."
Battlefield Hardline was recently delayed and now won't see the light of day until early 2015.
