DriveClub problems continue to pile up
Problems surrounding DriveClub are continuing to pile up, with owners now struggling to get their games online.
Evolution Studios has claimed that the DriveClub servers have already hit their limits, so the game is now operating on a frustrating "one in, one out" policy.
New player connections won't be possible until an existing connected player has left the game.
"We're just as frustrated as you about the server performance issues right now," said the studio. "We want you to be racing with clubs and having fun playing challenges, not checking Facebook updates from us to see if the servers are updated yet."
Apparently the server problem is being worked on as we speak, with Evolution Studios eager to get more people online.
"The whole team here at Evolution Studios have got their shoulders to the wheel working hard to improve this situation: developing updates and upgrades to the servers - and testing these updates around the clock so that we can get them live."
"We hope you can enjoy the game offline while we work to improve the server performance and get you connected - and we're sorry that you''re having to wait to play the game online as we intended for it to be played."
Ironically the free PlayStation Plus version of DriveClub was delayed earlier this week, as Evolution Studios wanted to ensure a smoother launch for those who paid out for the full game.
With problems mounting up on the full version, it''s hard to tell when exactly the free version will ever be made available.
The DriveClub PS Plus version was originally said to be a launch title for the PlayStation 4.
