Titanfall update adding four-player coop mode
Respawn Entertainment is adding a four-player coop mode to Titanfall as part of a new update.
The mode is called Frontier Defense, and players will team up to defend objectives against waves of enemies.
This means Grunts and Spectres, Nuclear and Arc Titans, Sniper Spectres, Cloak Drones and Suicide Spectres will have to be fought off.
It may sound like a tough challenge, but fortunately players will be able to deploy stationary turrets to defend objectives, and there'll be loadout creates to switch your loadouts mid-game and refill ammo.
Frontier Defense will be playable on every map in the game.
Ranked Play is also being introduced, where players work through a set of challenges by out-performing other pilots.
And several other tweaks in the update include new Titan voices, 17 new Xbox One Achievements, a full screen minimap and a new Map Stars features.
A firm release date for the update hasn't been announced yet, but expect it sometime in October.
