First Destiny expansion arrives December
The first expansion pack for Destiny has been announced as The Dark Below, heading to consoles on 9 December.
You can pick it up for a hefty £19.99 on its own, or as part of a Season Pass for £34.99 GBP that includes another expansion to be released later on.
The Dark Below raises the level cap to 32, adds five additional Bounty slots, comes with new story quests and missions, and adds a new co-operative Strike.
On top of that there are new weapons, armour and gear, three new competitive multiplayer arenas and a new six-player raid.
"Destiny was created as a living universe, which has allowed us to improve the experience post launch in real-time," claimed president of Bungie Harold Ryan.
"It also gives us insight into the things players are looking for in new content. We've seen from feedback that people want new activities, gear and weapons and of course the immensely popular Raid. The community helps shape our development decisions and that's really important to us."
