Bloodborne pushed back to 28 March
Sony has delayed PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne to 28 March.
The action-RPG was due to hit stores 6 February, but the decision to delay it came after wanting to give fans "the best possible final experience".
Bloodborne is in development at Dark Souls studio FROM Software, and it's being viewed as the spiritual successor to that critically acclaimed series.
"As many of you know, earlier this year we announced that our forthcoming PS4 game, Bloodborne, would launch in February 2015," explained producer Masaaki Yamagiwa.
"Unfortunately, I'm here today to announce a short delay to the release date, as we need a few more weeks to deliver you the best possible final experience.
"We were really grateful for all the player data and feedback we received from those who took part in our recent limited alpha test, and this extra development time will allow us to better integrate these learnings into the game."
Yamagiwa did however add that some "exciting Bloodborne news" will be coming in December, so keep an eye out for that.
