Assassin’s Creed Unity patch this week
Ubisoft has announced it will be patching the rather buggy Assassin’s Creed Unity this week.
The announcement was made on the company’s Live Updates page and will include over 300 fixes and is called Patch 3.
It will start rolling out today on PS4 and Xbox One with a PC patch coming later in the week.
One of the main issues players complained about was the frame rate problems. Although Ubisoft has said it will be releasing a separate update for that, it has been mentioned in the Patch 3 notes.
Other notable updates include navigation issues, especially being stuck in scenery (so very frustrating), camera issues and cover mechanics. There’s also been improvements to crowd animations, as well as a more bizarre issue (more likely to be seen in a Saint’s Row game) of falling horse carriages from the sky.
Matchmaking has also seen huge improvements and include the issues of missing objective markers and revivals.
You can find the full list here. And if you’ve not read our review, why not check it out here. Despite the issues, we still like the game.
