Grey Goo set for release in 23 January

Command and Conquer creators are back with a new RTS game which will be released on 23 January on Steam.

Petroglyph, the developer, had opened the game for Alpha testing and was going to follow up with Closed Alpha and Beta testing, however it said that the information already garnered was enough to come up with a more comprehensive release schedule.

The developer also said more testing would mean longer wait and the aim was to “improve the game so that we can get Grey Goo into your hands and onto your computer as soon as possible."

Ted Morris, executive producer, said the idea was “to bring back some of what made those ‘traditional’ RTS games great while addressing all the lessons we've learned along the way.”

We’ll have more closer to release, but we’re looking forward to this one.
