Halo: Spartan Strike delayed to 2015

343 Industries has announced Halo: Spartan Strike will be delayed to 2015.

The studio said it wanted to hold back the game to spend more time fixing Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The studio has said to Halo Waypoint “we announced Halo: Spartan Strike, our latest touch-based top-down shooter for Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and Steam, will be available on 12 Dec.

"While we're excited about this all-new Halo experience, our commitment to resolving the current matchmaking issues in Halo: The Master Chief Collection remains the top priority. As a result, we have decided to move the release of Halo: Spartan Strike to early 2015.

"We can't wait to show you more of Halo: Spartan Strike early next year."
