Destiny Guardians to carry over to sequel

Destiny gamers will be able to transfer their characters over when the newest iteration of the game is released, says Bungie.

Community manager, David “Deej” Dague said Bungie intended to allow players to migrate their Guardians to Destiny II (working title obviously).

Speaking to IGN he said “The idea is that the Guardian you have created is something you can bring along with you on that adventure," and “[i]f you take a look at the way people have played other games for a long period of time, they’ve had a relationship with the same character for a very long time.”

And it’s true, especially with a game like Destiny where there have been a huge amount of people committing huge amounts of time to secure the best armour, load outs and even shaders!
