Halo 5 beta gets update tomorrow

Halo 5: Guardians beta will be receive a new map tomorrow and developer 343 Industries will be asking gamers can vote which map will be added.

The first option is Orion with two defensible, asymmetrical towers and offers a variety of weapons including the Energy Sword, the Sniper Rifle and the Hydra MLRS.

The second is Pegasus which is geared primarily for those that are more interested in longer range weapons such as the Sniper, Rocket Launcher and Light Rifle.

You can find out more about the maps on the Halo website and you can vote for them there as well. The results will be announced later tonight. The map will be live tomorrow.

Both maps were created using Forge, the map-editing tool that made its debut in Halo 3. It will be included in Halo 5 when it’s released and will allow players to create their very own maps.

In other Halo news, The Master Chief Collection will also get an update tomorrow, adding achievements for Halo 4 Spartan Ops and tackling the ongoing problematic multiplayer element. You can find more on this at Halo Waypoint.
