CoD Havoc DLC delayed for PC
The PC release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC has been delayed due to an “unexpected issue” according to Sledgehammer Games.
Havoc, the first of the DLC pack, was released in January for the Xbox platforms, and yesterday on the PlayStation platforms. The PC expansion was due to arrive today, but the developer has said it will now come a week later on 3 March.
From Sledgehammer Games’ Facebook page: ”We have encountered an unexpected issue with the PC release for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's first DLC content pack, Havoc, and we're holding its release until March 3rd”.
"We don't take this decision lightly, but rest assured that our team is working with Activision to get this content to the PC community as quickly as possible."
It’s the first of four planned expansions and includes four new multiplayer maps, the highly anticipated Exo Zombies mode (review coming soon) and new weapons, including the AE4 directed energy assault rifle and custom variant, the AE4 Widowmaker - both of which are excellent.
To make up for the delay, PC gamers can expect to pick up double XP in multiplayer effective immediately, and presumably available until the expansion has been released.
