Nintendo considering successor to 3DS
Nintendo is already thinking of a successor to the 3DS.
The 3DS was only launched last year but Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto revealed possible plans for the future.
Speaking to IGN, Miyamoto said: “I really feel like I’m satisfied with the 3DS hardware as it is. I feel like it’s the best for this generation.
“What we’re thinking about right now is probably going to be for a future generation of handheld.”
Fans of the system shouldn’t be worried though as Nintendo still has plans for the 3DS.
Miyamoto recently revealed that the company is thinking of remaking a classic Zelda game for the popular handheld.
The 3DS was released last year with disappointing sales figures; however after a price cut the handheld received a massive boost and has now gone on to sell over 10 million units worldwide.
