Former UAE developers release Impulse GP
EcoTorque Games, an indie games developer based in Vancouver, Canada has launched its new game, Impulse GP.
The studio is cofounded by Auday Hussein and Rabah Shihab whom owned Cosmos Software in Dubai before moving to Vancouver.
Impulse GP is a futuristic bike racer which transports players to an eco-conscious future where they race fast ion powered bikes against 14 opponents.
"The most interesting part of the game is the impulse boost, a simple yet challenging boost system that requires the concentration and quick reflexes of an elite racer," according to the developer.
"The game’s creative steering mechanism gives you smooth and precise control rarely found in mobile games."
Impulse GP contains personlisation options, allowing players to build their bikes choosing colours and patterns.
ArabicGamers asked Auday Hussein if Impulse GP will be localised to Arabic, Hussein said: "We haven’t done any game localisation yet, we will work on that after the English version takes off."
Impulse GP is available exclusively in the UAE App Store for $2.99 USD, in addition to Sweden, Singapore and New Zealand. The game will be available worldwide early May.
