Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem coming 2013
Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem will hit the 3DS in the first half of next year.
Fans have eagerly anticipated both games but so far news has been scarce.
Boss of Nintendo Europe, Satoru Shibata, confirmed both games during the Nintendo Direct conference.
He said: “In order to provide the best end result and give fans the quality they expect from Nintendo, we can confirm today these two titles will now be launching in Europe in the first half of 2013.
“We are sorry you will have to wait a little longer but we hope you understand our desire to ultimately deliver a game fans will love.”
The new games will make use of the 3DS’s StreetPass abilities.
Fire Emblem: Awakening will allow you to recruit characters from other players, bolstering your forces. SpotPass will enable you to download new game content.
Animal Crossing will let you exchange house designs and Nintendo promised the game will offer more lifelike characters with an increased range of characterization options.
