Scrolls approaching release

Mojang has released details for online collectible card game Scrolls.

Scrolls is ‘rapidly approaching’ a closed alpha version for players to sink their teeth into.

Mojang co-founder, Jakob Porser, took to the Scrolls website to say: “We are rapidly approaching the closed alpha of Scrolls. Although this alpha version will be far from a feature complete version of the game, it will include multiplayer matches, single player matches vs. AI and the Deck Builder, where you can build your decks out of the 100+ scrolls that currently exist in the game.”

A beta version of Scrolls will release some time after featuring single-player gameplay.

An auction house and character customisation will also be added to the game over time.

A release date and price haven’t yet been announced.
