Far Cry 3 delayed until November
Ubisoft has announced Far Cry 3 won’t be ready until 30 November.
The game has been pushed back nearly three months after its original 4 September release date.
Producer at Ubisoft, Dan Hay, said: “We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience.
“Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.”
However this looks like bad news for sales, as Far Cry 3 will now compete with other first-person shooters released that month.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Halo 4 are out in November, while Medal of Honor: Warfighter drops 30 October.
Ubisoft also revealed Just Dance 4 will be launching 2 October while Rocksmith has been brought forward to 28 September.
