New Angry Birds could see you play as pigs

The next installment of Angry Birds could see you play from the perspective of the pigs.

Pocket-Lint claims to have seen screenshots of the game showing the pigs trying to defend the eggs they’ve stolen.

The general gameplay will remain the same, with pigs being catapulted at incoming birds.

The new game is expected to launch before the end of the year.

Angry Birds is one of the most popular franchises of all time, recently topping one billion downloads.

Activision recently announced plans to bring Angry Birds HD to consoles.
