EVE Online to be released in Japan at end of March

One of the most successful MMOs of all time, EVE Online, will be released in Japan on March 28.
Announced by developer and publisher CCP and Nexon, EVE Online will be distributed through mainland China by TianCity while Nexon will manage the payments, marketing and PR.
CCP has said that it will continue to develop the game and give customer support.
The strategy is to make this very niche, space-management MMO more accessible to the mainstream audience and CCP has already released a plethora of "n00b-friendly" trailers to help reach out to a new audience.
EVE Online's Crucible 1.2 update was released last month and the game currently has around 350,000 subscribers world-wide, and the Japanese audience will join the game through the Tranquility server using their native language, the same server as the rest of the global players.
