F1 Race Stars announced

Codemasters has announced arcade racing game F1 Race Stars.

Being an official Formula One game, F1 Race Stars will allow players to take control of their favourite drivers and take them out onto famous circuits from around the world.

Drivers such as Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel will be playable.

Official circuits including Monaco, Silverstone and Abu Dhabi have been given a twist to take the racing onwards and upwards.

Jumps, loops and power-ups have been added to make the action even more intense.

The game will also feature 4-player split-screen racing and 12-player competition along with an extensive career mode featuring a number of Championships.

Senior producer of F1 Race Stars, Chris Gray, said: “We’re really excited to bring the whole cast of Formula One into a fun new world of racing.

“We’ve really let our Art and Design teams off the leash to bring F1 stars’ personalities alive in a new way and create a game where racing fans of all ages can jump into all-action solo, split-screen and online multiplayer races.”

F1 Race Stars will launch for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in November.
