Details of Origin update

EA has released details of an update to digital download service Origin.

Origin 9.0 will have a free-floating friends list, making it easier to chat in and out of games.

It will also feature a revamped My Games library, including a slider which lets you resize game images to make them as big or small as you like.

The overall performance of Origin has also been improved to allow for a smoother experience for users.

Origin 9.0 will be released to players who have opted in to beta updates before being made available to everyone else at a later date.
