Warface worked on by Crytek and Trion Worlds

New free-to-play shooter Warface is being co-published by Crytek and Trion Worlds.

The game will be available through Crytek’s social platform GFACE and will use Trion’s online technology, codenamed Red Door.

Crytek CEO, Cevat Yerli, said: “Trion is the company spearheading a revolution in gaming through delivering premium online games across big genres powered by a proven, cutting edge platform.

“The combination of this platform, GFACE and Warface shows Crytek’s commitement to finding innovative new ways to bring superior gaming experiences and triple-A titles to gamers.”

Last month it was revealed that Crytek will become a fully free-to-play company in the future.
