FIFA 13 heading to Wii U

FIFA 13 has been confirmed for Wii U.

EA Sports told Official Nintendo Magazine that FIFA 13 would be heading to the new console where it would look best.

FIFA 13’s Wii U producer, Matt Prior, said: “It’s on a par with 360 and PS3 and we were even able to make some key graphical improvements.

“We focused on areas that would have the most impact on the game.”

The game will also make use of the GamePad, with Touchscreen Tackling, Touchscreen Passing and Touchscreen Shooting features.

The controller’s screen can also be used to access a Manager Hub, control free kicks and penalties and change tactics.

FIFA 13 for Wii U doesn’t have a release date. It is due to arrive on other platforms 28 September.
