The new Ouya home console will support up to four controllers.
The design group working on the console confirmed the news as the project's Kickstarter funding drive rose to $8,596,475 USD.
Namco Bandai also revealed it is in active discussions with Ouya to, "bring some of the world's biggest gaming properties to the exciting new open gaming platform".
Namco Bandai would like to hear what gamers want to see on Ouya on its Facebook page.
Two new images of the Ouya console and controller were released earlier this week.
