BioShock Infinite cuts two multiplayer modes
Irrational Games has cut at least two multiplayer modes from upcoming BioShock Infinite.
Creative director, Ken Levine, told Kotaku that new modes would only make it into the game if they are good enough.
Levine said: "As I've always said we are experimenting with things, and only if they are good enough will we put them in the game."
One of the scrapped modes featured shrunken players inside an old arcade machine doing battle with waves of enemies.
The other was titled "Spec-Ops" where four players would team up and go through levels from the single-player campaign.
It is not clear whether any multiplayer modes remain.
BioShock Infinite is due out next year.
