Sony has announced that over 100 PSone games will be playable on the PlayStation Vita next week.
PSone support for the Vita was announced at Gamescom 2012 earlier this month.
A Sony statement said: "Looking to downloadable products, Jim Ryan revealed that from August 28th, over 100 PSone classics including Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil 2 will be available to download for PS Vita."
PSone support arrives with Vita firmware 1.80 on 28 August. The update will also allow the PS Vita to be used as a controller for compatible PlayStation 3 games.
