Xbox LIVE Arcade titles to have more Achievements

From 1 June this year Xbox LIVE Arcade games will be expected to have a base Gamerscore of 400 with a maximum of 30 Achievements according to reports in Xbox360Achievements.
Currently the base Gamerscore is 200 with only 20 Achievements, but a source has told Xbox360Achievements that they could also expect more freedom with DLC. Again, as with the base Gamerscore, DLC will now increase from 50 Gamerscore and five Achievements per quarter to 100 Gamerscore and eight Achievements per quarter.
This will almost double the Achievements in online games, but will more than double Gamescore points available.
With more content becoming available in almost app form, or even as a smaller project, general gaming consumers are more likely to spend their cash on LIVE Arcade games
