The Riders of Rohan expansion for Lord of the Rings Online has been delayed until October.
Developer Turbine announced the news on the game's blog, saying that the beta had been a success but there were some issues they needed to address.
Executive producer, Kate Paiz, wrote: "In order to address those issues and meet our expectations for quality we're going to need more time. As a result, we've elected to delay our launch to 15 October.
"We understand that many players have been looking forward to joining us in Rohan as soon as possible and will be disappointed by this news."
People who pre-ordered the expansion will receive 500 Turbine Points as a result. The points are added automatically to player accounts.
