PS Vita firmware update adds PSone games

Sony has released a firmware update for the PlayStation Vita allowing users to play classic PSone titles.

Over 100 games such as Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid and Tomb Raider will be available to download from the EU PlayStation Store from tomorrow.

Those that already downloaded the games for the PS3 will be able to transfer them over to the Vita.

The update also allows the Vita to be used as a PlayStation 3 controller with compatible games.
