Tecmo Koei drops support for GAME stores
Tecmo Koei has stated that neither Ninja Gaiden 3 nor Warriors Orochi 3 will be be appearing in GAME stores.
The beleaguered UK games retailer has been having a tough time of it recently, and Tecmo Koei is the latest in a list of high-profile publishers refusing to issue their titles to GAME.
Capcom previously announced that Asura's Wrath and Street Fighter x Tekken wouldn't be available in GAME, and EA noted that the store wouldn't be stocking their titles past SSX - including Mass Effect 3.
This latest problem seems to lend weight to the comments recently made by EA CEO John Riccitiello, who stated yesterday that the closure of a "major European retail partner" now looked like "all but a certainty."
At the time of writing, GAME's share price is sat at 1.15p, having been fluctuating between 1.1p and 1.3p throughout the day.
Ninja Gaiden 3 is due out on 23 March, with Warriors Orochi 3 to follow on 30 March. Although not in GAME, obviously.
