Steam Greenlight officially launches

Community-moderated system Steam Greenlight has gone live.

Steam Greenlight allows players to choose which independent games they'd like to see made available on the Steam service.

There are currently over 500 games up for consideration.

Each game comes with information and screenshots as users decide which games to recommend.

Valve's Anna Sweet said: "As we've done with all Steam features, we intend to continually grow and modify Greenlight as more and more developers and community members have a chance to get involved."
