Sega and Double Fine Productions have released new screenshots for The Cave.
The Cave is a side-scrolling adventure game by Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert, set to launch early 2013.
Characters in the game come together form different time periods and countries to explore a vast set of tunnels. As the characters explore they learn something about themselves.

The Cave will be a downloadable title for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and PC.
