Blacks Ops 2 on Wii U 'on par' with other versions

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on Wii U will be 'on par' with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.

Black Ops 2 for Wii U was announced yesterday at a Nintendo Direct conference.

Call of Duty producer, Jason Ades, claimed the Wii U version will be comparable to other platforms.

Ades said: "Call of Duty is really known for its visceral, intense gameplay, and we're really excited that for the Wii U we're going to be presenting in full HD.

"We really believe it's going to be on par with any other HD console, bringing that visceral presentation of Call of Duty to life."

Ades went on to explain the benefits of playing Black Ops 2 on Wii U.

He added: "When you're playing multiplayer, the ability to have the GamePad and be playing on the same couch as your buddy, to have your own real estate on the GamePad for your multiplayer experience, is really terrific."
