PlayStation Mobile store launching October

A PlayStation Mobile store is set to go live from 3 October.

The new store will launch with over 30 games for Android smartphones and tablets in Europe, the US and Japan, reports GamesIndustry.

The PlayStation Mobile software development kit will be released to developers in November.

Sony said: "PlayStation Mobile marries fun, engaging PlayStation-style gaming with the convenience of PlayStation Certified mobile devices and an intuitive store navigation and purchasing experience."

Content from PlayStation Mobile is also set to be compatible with the PlayStation Vita.
