12 PS2 games we'd love on the PS4
Earlier this week we had a look at 12 fantastic PS1 games that we wanted to play on the PlayStation 4. So we thought it was only fair to make a list of PS2 games as well! The games on this list are mostly sequels and they show just why the PlayStation 2 was the most popular games console of all time.
Spider-Man 2
New York City was your playground and you could swing about just like Spidey. It was thrilling.
SSX Tricky
We remember this for the music as much as the amazing combo moves you could pull off.
Burnout 3
Hours were spent trying to pull off the most destruction in Crash Mode.
Jak 2
Jak & Daxter set things up, but the more mature Jak 2 was where the series came into its own.
GTA: Vice City
Remains my personal favourite GTA due to the soundtrack and colourful characters.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Righted the wrongs of MGS2, Snake Eater let you have all kinds of fun in the jungle.
God of War
So much action and destruction, God of War remains close to many hearts even now.
Kingdom Hearts
Disney characters in an action RPG. What's not to love?
Devil May Cry
Original Dante remains one of the coolest videogame characters ever.
Need for Speed: Underground
Car customisation set this game apart. I still remember tuning my orange Fiesta and thinking I was a badass.
Final Fantasy X
This was an epic game in every way, maybe the last good Final Fantasy title. Blitzball!
Shadow of the Colossus
One of the most critically acclaimed games on the PS2. Will we ever see a sequel?
