Xbox 360 dashboard update drops today

The Xbox 360 dashboard will be updated today with support for Internet Explorer, Xbox Music, Xbox Video and more.

The update is set to go live for three million users worldwide today and everyone else in the next two weeks.

A new Internet Explorer app will be added as well as Microsoft's Xbox Music service, allowing users to stream millions of tracks to the Xbox for £8.99 GBP a month.

Other changes include the TV and Video tabs being turned into one TV & Movies section, while the home screen now allows users to 'Pin' their favourite content for easier access.

Bing will also come with more features such as video search options. Voice searching capabilities will finally make their way to Ireland, Canada, France, Japan, Mexico, Italy, Spain and Austria.
