Wasteland 2 released 19 September

Wasteland 2 will officially launch on 19 September, over 25 years since the original made its debut.

It was initially scheduled to drop sometime in August before delays hit, but now a firm date has finally been set.

"The 20+ year wait is soon over," wrote series creator Brian Fargo on Twitter.

Wasteland 2 is a Kickstarter funded project that managed to raise $3million USD from backers back in 2012.

The game is directed by Fargo, who's previously told ArabicGamers that it wouldn't be aimed solely at the hardcore fans of the franchise.
